A marine diesel technician and diesel engine guru hailing from Kailua Kona, Hawaii. Justin and his wife Leina’ala both drive Ram Cummins Turbo Diesels as their daily drivers. Justin’s Olive Green 2021 is featured on the cover of our Geno’s Garage catalog #125, and Leina’ala’s truck is a 2022 Mega cab in Delmonico Red. Since age 16 Justin answered the call of the 12-valve diesel engine: he said it was that distinctive 12-valve sound that drew him in – and now, 20 years later, his devotion to diesel engines has only grown stronger.
Here’s what happened. So many of their friends and family on the island also drive Ram diesel trucks, that Justin has become their diesel mechanic, upfitter and advisor on all-things Ram Turbo Diesel. Since he found us online at the start of this side-gig 15 years ago, he’s been supplying his customers with Ram parts and accessories from our catalog. We consider this quite an honor. After all, Kailua Kona is located on the western side of the Big Island, along the shores of the Pacific Ocean and it is 4,400 miles from Cumming, Georgia.
